Texas Family Project Endorses Maureen Reister for Denton County Justice of the Peace, Precinct 2

Maureen is a proud 40-year Texan, 15-year Frisco resident, a mother, a grandmother and a librarian. She is committed to serving the citizens of Frisco, Little Elm, The Colony, and Hackberry as they deserve, with equality under the law, fairness, good judgement, and compassion.

Maureen knows that not everyone, and not all families look alike. But, we, the people, all have a common humanity, no matter one’s race, religion, age, gender identity, ability, or political ideology, and our actions as citizens and the actions of our elected public officials must align with that common humanity.

Texas Family Project is proud to endorse Maureen Reister in her bid to become the next Justice of the Peace in Denton County, Precinct 2, because she stands for equal treatment under the law, which encompasses equal access to to all public services. Her standards align with the work for equal rights the Texas Family Project does on behalf of the the children and families in our communities.
