All Texas families deserve equal rights and fair treatment under the law
Young Texans are the most diverse generation in America. 49% of Texans under the age of 19 are Hispanic and 12% are African American. The future of our state is in its diversity. We need a government that recognizes and protects our young diverse population.
Over the last few years Texans and the rest of America has watched in horror as our black citizens have been attacked by police officers, Hispanic children have been ripped away from their parents in ICE raids along the border, and Muslim mosques have been desecrated. We must protect the civil rights of all Texas families regardless of race, religion, and sexual identity.
It is time for the state legislature to pass laws to protect the most vulnerable from the assaults on their freedom and liberty.
